It's very simple, let's refresh your memory:
Cubic meters (m3) correspond to volume, and square meters (m²) correspond to the floor area.
For example:
- Calculating square meters (m²): Length x width of the room
A room 8 meters long and 5 meters wide: 8 x 5 = 40 m²
- Calculating cubic meters (m3): Length x width x height of the room
A room 4 meters long, 3 meters wide and 1.5 meters high: 4 x 3 x 1.5 = 18 m3
